Remodel Day 4: Kitchen Hood Ideas

While we are waiting to get started I’m still trying to figure some of the details on the remodel. First the stove hood. I think that when I ordered the cabinets way back in June (6 months ago) I actually ordered a wood hood. But now that I’ve had time to look I’m wondering if something else might look better.

 

I know for sure that I won’t be able to make a final decision until we are waaaaaaay down the road but here are a few different inspo pics of kitchen hoods.

 

The constitution of the remodel is straight forward: rustic materials with modern lines. Our bathroom remodel successfully pulled this off and the stone walls used there will continue in the living space. 

 

Im wondering though about using stone behind the stove top - terrible to clean! But maybe a stone hood should be considered. And I love the rustic metal hoods but Holy-moley-casholey - not how I’m spending money here.
