More about Treasure Chest: this great organization serves kids, teens and families in the Platte County school district who are facing financial insecurity. They currently have about 45 teens and families who are homeless - on top of the tremendous need of many others that they serve. When I talked to the director about this idea - Jen Buetel - she was thrilled at the idea of us donating brand new leggings to her girls who have no other way of having new clothes.
HOW WILL IT WORK?? If you are feeling like you want to skip a month of getting leggings in the mail then just shoot me a note that says to give them away that month. Then I will put the leggings that would have gone to you in a gift basket that will go to Treasure Chest instead.
