Remodel Day #411: Laundry Room is Moved
Apartment remodel update: a lot happened while I was away at Junk Bonanza. The laundry room that previously existed in our kitchen was demolished and moved into the foyer of the apartment instead. It does make that landing area smaller but it wasn’t livable space anyway - and it makes the kitchen SO MUCH BIGGER!
This morning I’m moving things from one room to the other room for the next demolition phase. Once that’s done it’s all about putting it back together.
A couple of cabinet guys are coming next week to measure & give me bids. It sounds like we might not have to wait a terribly long time for cabinets which seems crazy bc I had friends that waited months. BUT this entire remodel process has been a lot of “manana manana manana” so I’ll believe it when I see it.
one more thing.... if you don't have any of these FURNITURE SLIDERS get them immediately! We've had the same set in the shop for years & I've used them today moving stuff in the apartment. Best $20-ish bucks you'll ever spend!!
