BEER NEWS: New in The Cellar this week from Surly Brewing Company
Surly Brewing Company, based in Minneapolis, is a renegade company who has not only changed the way Minnesota drinks beer - literally they've changed the law books - they are emerging as one of the best breweries in the United States. Surly's distribution is finally extending into the Kansas & Missouri markets and we are THRILLED here in The Cellar at Cactus Creek to be offering their beers!
A few years ago when we were at Junk Bonanza in Shakopee MN (just south of the Twin Cities - Minneapolis & St. Paul) I went to the Surly Brewery for dinner and it is phenomenal! The 50,000 square-foot facility hosts a brew house, beer hall, beer garden, company store, event center, pizza restaurant, and Festival Field concert venue.
