Planning a Back to School Parent PARTY?? This is the 2nd year of our Back to School party for the parents in The Cellar at Cactus Creek.  We love hosting all of the moms {and a few dads!!} after they drop off the kids.  This year we kicked it up a notch by turning on the blue lights which gave the event a groovy vibe. One person said it felt like a night club which I love for a party atmosphere. To feel like you are far away from reality and for the next couple of hours you can let all of the junk of the week wash away.

The selfie station was complete with a Mom's 1st Day of School Chalkboard. It was fun to see what everyone wrote on their boards for “This is MY Year To:”

  We also had a Build-Your-Own swag bag that included our brand new Weston tshirts + bandannas + jewelry + a little snack.  We saved the new shirts for the party so that our guests were the first to see them.  

 The CHICKEN + WAFFLE breakfast was catered by Brancato's - a local catering company in Kansas City.  The menu included Jalapeno Cheddar Waffles skewers with Honey Glazed Chicken + Sriracha Aioli AND Spinach + Turkey Sausage Breakfast Burritos AND yogurt parfaits.  And of course Mimosas + Bloody Mary's. 

 Thanks to all who came out and stayed and made it a GREAT DAY TO BE A BLUE JAY!!
