For me this is less of a date-night outfit and more of a lunch-with-the-girls outfit.

The sweater has a fun, nostalgic feel — very throwback, very Laura Ashley-inspired — and it’s meant to be worn because it makes you smile, not because it’s trying to be sexy.

I styled it with mahogany-colored gaucho pants to keep the look relaxed and grounded. The wider leg balances the sweetness of the sweater and makes the outfit feel comfortable, confident, and easy.

This is the kind of outfit you wear when you’re catching up over lunch, wandering a few shops, or making a day out of it with friends — no fuss, no overthinking.

If you love clothes that feel playful, comfortable, and a little sentimental, this one fits right in.
