I had such a great time visiting today, thank you so much for having me out, this is going to be such a special place for people to visit and bring their new memories to a rich historical spot in Platte County. I love it all and cannot wait to get started!
Summary of today: Visited to see the Heritage House Air B&B, explored each room, evaluated the current furniture, and brainstormed what else is needed. Here are the key items for the initial setup of the project:
- Sitting Area to the right of house foyer:
- Sofa size will work and hopefully the "zebra" chair - just need some good pillows (cowhide, sheepskin, aztec).
- Coffee Table
- Aztec Rug
- Big Art - below is a piece we've had in the past and I can get again but it's 24" x 36" and might not be big enough for that space. Does this feel like the direction you want to go?
- Foyer:
- Entry Rug
- Entry Rug
- Living Area to the left of house foyer:
- End tables (one you have will work)
- Coffee Table
- Sisal Rug (need to measure) layered with cowhide rug
- Full Size Bedroom:
- Iron bed (I'll send a picture of the one I have)
- End tables
- Art & Rugs
- Bedding, towels
- Trunk potentially under TV
- King Size Bedroom:
- Dresser (one you have will work)
- End tables
- Art & Rugs
- Bedding, towels
- Outdoor furniture - this needs to be HEAVY as you know the winds out there can get pretty ferocious.
Begin with this initial plan, adding decor, plants, lamps, pillows, and blankets as the next steps once these key pieces are finalized.
I have also attached my Interior Services contract:
