A few weeks ago, my son married his high school sweetheart at Red Barn Farm, and his bride brought to life the most beautiful Western Prairie-inspired wedding reception. The tables were layered with vintage lace, family heirlooms, collected antiques, lanterns, fresh flowers, candlelight, and meaningful details that felt both timeless and personal.
Below are a few of my favorite details from a day we'll never forget.

Every table was different—a mix of family heirlooms, thrifted finds, collected antiques, fresh flowers, and layers of texture and history.

For months, we collected vintage lace tablecloths and layered them over simple white linens so the centerpieces could do the talking.

The vision started with her grandmother's lantern collection, and everything else was layered in around them.

Fresh flowers, gathered in bulk and arranged by hand, gave every table its own wild and romantic charm.
The guest book table was one of my favorite corners of the room.

When we stepped back and looked at the room, the tablescapes told their entire love story.
As we gathered pieces for the wedding, it reminded me how much I love helping people create spaces that tell a story. Many of the elements used throughout the reception—vintage-inspired décor, amber glass, lanterns, mirrors, table accents, and collected treasures—can be found at Cactus Creek or recreated with items from our shop.
Whether you're planning a wedding, shower, rehearsal dinner, holiday gathering, or special event, we'd love to help you bring your vision to life.
